Friendsgiving is creeping up everywhere on the Internet and in the news these days.
The good folks at LancasterOnline are covering the trend in the Dutch country of Pennsylvanina. They trace the history of the term all they way back to a 2009 Urban Dictionary post and label Friendsgiving as a “Thankgiving Potluck for your friends.” I prefer a more liberal interpertation: Friendsgiving Defined.
